Director of Sales

Reports To: VP of Sales or CEO

We’re looking for a Director of Sales to lead, coach, and scale a team of sales professionals. You’ll be responsible for driving day-to-day execution, ensuring we hit our revenue goals, and continuously sharpening our sales process.

Duties

  • Recruit, onboard, and develop sales team members

  • Set clear sales goals and hold the team accountable

  • Run regular pipeline reviews and sales standups

  • Partner with marketing and customer success to improve lead quality and handoff

  • Help optimize CRM workflows and reporting

  • Work directly on key deals and negotiations as needed

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of sales experience, including people leadership

  • Proven ability to coach reps and improve team performance

  • Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills

  • Experience with modern CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)

  • Ability to balance hands-on execution with strategic thinking
