Supervise receiving, storage, and shipment of goods
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock rotation
Lead warehouse staff — hiring, training, and daily supervision
Implement safety standards and enforce compliance
Optimize warehouse layout for space, flow, and efficiency
Monitor inbound and outbound logistics for cost and timeliness
Coordinate with production, procurement, and customer service teams
Track and report key metrics: inventory accuracy, pick/pack speed, shrinkage, and on-time delivery
Core System Requirements
Strong leadership and team management abilities
Knowledge of inventory control systems and warehouse management software (WMS)
Solid understanding of logistics, shipping, and receiving best practices
Strong organizational and process improvement skills
Forklift certification and OSHA safety compliance knowledge (often a plus)
Ability to balance people leadership with hands-on problem-solving
